NEW IN THE SAXAPAHAW GENERAL STORE THIS JANUARY!
We are proud to display our amazing wines from the Haw River Wine Man. This beautifully crafted display case can guide you through some of the most wonderful, small vineyard wines from Italy, France, California and other sought after wine-making regions. You will be hard pressed to find a wine on this rack that you will not love!
Also this January we are EXPANDING OUR GROCERY OPTIONS AGAIN for locals and visitors alike! The Saxapahaw General Store has added a plethora of new items to make shopping a one-stop affair. Save yourself the 45 mile round trip cost of gas, user of time, and wear and tear on your vehicle and shop local. JUST ADDED:
NEW LOCAL PRODUCTS:
We are very excited to introduce a few of our spankin’ new, local vendor goods that we are showcasing in our grocery aisles.
BARK 4 BONES: over the river and through the woods in Graham comes locally made dog biscuits and cookies your furry friend will devour. All ingredients can be pronounced, since even our family pets deserve to know what is in their food.
PORCINO PASTAS: direct from Carrboro, these hand made, dried, pastas are bursting with unique flavors such as Curry Macaroni, Beet and Sweet Potato Shells, and Basil Fettucine.
ASPIRIALING APRONS AND CAPES: Karin of Snow Camp is now selling her hand made aprons and children’s capes all constructed with reclaimed fabrics in our General Store. Try on a Star Wars or a sassy, silky black apron or grab a unique cape for the little one. Cockroaches, stars, clowns, and even garden beets are featured.
GIVE ME A SWITCH SWEET AND SPICY RELISH: Now this product will take the pants off your next party guests. Sweet on the tongue and then fire in the back makes this relish a wonderful addition to not just corn chips, but can also be heaped over a cheese dip, combined in a winter stew, or served atop roasted and grilled meats!
Our In Store Favorites:
We are very honored to be offering some high quality products such as:
Wild Carrot Herbals line of skin care–hand made from carefully grown botanicals. We recommend this line highly for the integrity of its maker (a personal friend who lives in Rickreall, Oregon) and for the quality of the lotions, oils and soaps.
Frontier brand organic/natural herbs, spices and even a clay mask. Ron has introduced nearly two dozen of Frontier’s most useful cooking spices/herbs, herbs for teas, and minerals (sea salt and clay)–these are very cost-effective and you can buy them in small quantities to avoid waste.
Weleda products–body oils, lotions, and other healthful applications for skin and body.
