A few notes on our food:
We source our produce locally whenever seasonally available; out of season staples (tomatoes, onions, lettuces, potatoes, etc.) almost always come from Albert’s Organics, a purveyor of organically grown produce. We bake all biscuits, pizza crust, English muffins and breads from scratch in house; foccaccia, sourdough, rye, and multi-grain find their way to our sandwich grill.
We also source our beef, chicken and pork locally. Our beef comes from Nooherooka Farm or Braeburn/Cane Creek Farms; our chicken from T-5 or Cozi Farm when available; our pork from Cane Creek Farm. Our fish is wild caught and from NC waters where possible. We use local goat cheese from Celebrity Dairy and Chapel Hill Creamery’s Pheta cheese. The butter in our baked goods is European style and hormone free. Our flour comes from Lindley Mills and the grain is organically grown. The eggs in our brunch specials are available using free-ranging local eggs from Cozi Farm, In the Styx Farm, or others.
